Chad and Teresa Dean adopted River from WRS in April of 2015. He was eleven months at the time and the sweetest thing that happened to them that year! River had been abandoned in Mississippi and thanks to WRS found his home with Chad and Teresa. They had 10 wonderful years with River and sadly he passed away in June this year. He was diagnosed with a rare form of skin cancer in late May and sadly gone by June. Chad and Teresa are forever thankful to WRS for all of the years they had with the best dog they could have dreamed of. He was a “once in a lifetime dog” and will be forever missed!
