Tabby (farm cat)

How would you describe their personality?
Cagney is a pet friendly farm cat who has lots of friends on the farm. This photo of Cagney proudly posing was the winner of the McCook Humane Society / Cat Pack calendar cover model contest (Cat Category) for the 2015 Cats & Dogs of McCook Calendar.

A tabby cat, also known as the grey tiger, is any domestic cat that has a coat featuring distinctive stripes, lines or swirling patterns, usually together with a mark resembling an 'M' on its forehead. Tabbies are sometimes assumed to be a cat breed when in fact, the tabby pattern is found in many breeds, as well as in mixed cat-breeds. The tabby pattern is a naturally occurring feature that is thought to be related to the coloration of the domestic cat's direct ancestor, the African wildcat, which has similar coloration patterns.
