How would you describe their personality?I am entering my horse (Dusty) photo in this animal shelter contest because this project is for a really great cause (thank you Cat Pack volunteers for organizing it for the Humane Society).
My horse Dusty is a big old sweetheart and he loves to push his head in to you or just lay his head on my shoulder. We “clicked” the first time we met and everyone who saw us together said that. I know that no matter what time in the day or night it is, no matter what the weather or season of the year it is, he is ALWAYS happy to see me.
I love my horse because I know he will always be there for me. I’m old enough to have seen friends come and go, but Dusty always make me happy. I can have the most stressful day, but when I go to the barn to see him, everything feels better. He's honest and accepting, strong yet forgiving, when I've had a hard day he just lets me climb up on his bare back (no halter or bridle), we ride, we breathe, and he helps me forget my problems for the day. I am blessed to have him as a friend.
