How would you describe their personality?
This photo was taken when Coal was a kitten but even after six years he is still a good sport and dresses up for holidays and party themed photos. He likes being the center of attention in a crowd, is friendly to all, and has had a very joyful life.

Like most tabby kittens Coal is a cute and cuddly fur ball with a distinctive “m” shaped mark on his forehead. Cat experts report Tabby's are thought to be very similar to dogs in behavior because they are very playful and show affection often (unlike many cat breeds which can be aloof and invisible most of the day). Our tabby really enjoys getting personal attention and definetly does a lot of playing around.

This Christmas holiday photo was taken by animal photographer Cindy Jo Garcia and actually was featured years ago in a card collection by Avanti Cards - how cool is that? We are proud to submit it in support of the Cat Pack project to support their local humane society no kill shelter.

We understand that a Tabby typically is known to become attached to a particular person in the household, usually the person who is involved with them the most during their everyday routines (and they enjoy sharing the bed with their owner). Coal is definetly attached to me like that, but he is also fond of spending time playing with, and grooming our three other cats.

Our experience is that all cats are Lounge Cats to some degree, but some breeds and personalities can take it to a whole new level of lounge-iness. When Coal is not hunting, playing outside, or wrestling the other cats, he's a true Lounge Cat inside on the couch completely limp and stretched out to his full extent in order to cover the most area possible and inconvenience anyone wishing to watch TV.
