Herman and Suzie were both adopted from local humane societies. Suzie, the black one, was so loving to my father as he went trough chemo & radiation for lung cancer. She has been living with us and Herman until my mom (now a widow) moves into a condo. Suzie has a special place in our heart and will forever remind us of our dad.
