Rules

Please read carefully!

• The minimum donation for submitting a photo is $10 per photo. You can submit as many photographs as you like.

• Click on the Participate link at the top of this page and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet.

• There are two categories of photos and you will need to choose a category for each photo you enter. The categories are:

  • "Fashionista" - for photos of pets decked out in their finest outfits

  • "Best Buddy" for the cutest, funniest, or most endearing photos of your best animal buddies

• 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes will be awarded to the persons submitting the photographs receiving the most votes in each of the categories. Click here to learn more about the prizes.

• Online entries must be received by Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, 9:00 PM Central Daylight Time.

• Donations are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Pet Haven, Inc. of Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All entrants will receive receipts from the contest website via email for their contributions.

• All photos become the property of Pet Haven, Inc. of Minnesota.

• Photos may contain one or more pets and may not contain people.

• Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, or the entrant must have permission from the pet’s owner to submit their pet’s image.

• Any image that includes people, is copyrighted, or has content that Pet Haven deems is inappropriate, will be removed from this photo contest.

• Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, and .tif.

• As soon as your photo is submitted it will appear on this website and be open to voting by the general public.

• Be sure to encourage your friends and family to vote often!

• 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place gift card prizes will be awarded to the persons submitting the photographs receiving the most votes in each of the 2 photo categories ("Fashionista" and "Best Buddy"). A panel of judges will also select up to 10 other photos which will be presented to the audience at our Fall Benefit event on Oct. 5, 2014 and a "people's choice" winner will be selected by applause. • Voting will end on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at 9:00 PM Central Daylight Time.

• Votes are $1 each, with a minimum $5 donation for five votes.

• To vote, click on the Participate link at the top of this page and then click on the photo of one of your favorites. Complete the form to buy and cast your votes.

  • Your votes can be cast for any photo in one vote increments.

  • You do not have to cast all of your votes at the time of donation or all for the same photo.

  • When you donate, you will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one photo, spreading your votes over various photos, or storing votes in your account. If you choose to store the votes, you can log in to your account with your ID and password and vote at a later time.

  • To be counted, votes must be cast by the conclusion of the voting period. The voting period ends on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 9:00PM CDT.

• All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

• All votes are donations to Pet Haven, Inc. of Minnesota and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive receipts from the contest website via email for their contributions.
