I am partnering up with R & R Rescue and Resort to hold a fun Charity Calendar Contest Fundraiser with photos of your pets! Whoop whoop, your dog could be featured on the 1st annual calendar! OMG how fun would that be?!
What do you win?! Well one of 13 monthly spots in the Calendar AND Bragging Rights ;). Each winning dog will have a professional photo session with me, Candra Schank Photography, and the best photo from the session will be featured in the Calendar. We will be selling these calendars in the Fall too…so mark your calendars ;)
To participate in the contest, all you need is a nice photo of your dog. Now, this time around, we are just asking that your dog be the only one in the photo…no people. This way they get all the voting attention. You simply sign into the contest and register your dog for $5…which the full $5 goes directly to R & R Rescue and Resort. That calls for another Whoop Whoop. And then, to raise money for the Rescue, each vote is $1 :) It’s that simple. We are trying to raise $5000 for R & R Rescue and Resort. So if you know of friends or family that may want to register their dog OR who may want to vote, please send them this page link.
Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest assist R & R Rescue and Resort with rescuing and re-homing dogs, cats, and small animals in Grey Bruce and the surrounding areas as well as providing education on responsible pet ownership, positive force free training, and the importance of spaying and neutering. This year's calendar, photographed and designed by Candra Schank Photography, features 12-months of furry faces.

Grand Prizes:
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entrants that get the most votes.
The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2024 calendar!
2nd - 13th place winners will have their dog featured as a pet of the month. The top 13 vote getters will have their dog professionally photographed by Candra Schank Photography for the 2024 calendar.
All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session, if desired.
*If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your dog to Candra Schank Photography’s studio at a pre-selected date in Owen Sound from May - July, 2023 for a professional studio photo session. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
Weekly Mini-Contest Prizes:
One pet each week who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of the participating businesses. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets.
