Official Rules:
A Good Dog Rescue's tagline has always been, "Where best friends are found." For this contest, the theme is "Best Friends." Please use your creativity to showcase what makes a dog a best friend! (Feel free to feature one of our adoptable pups from our social media pages or website, www.agooddogrescue.org!)
Use any medium (paints, markers, crayons, pencils, mixed media) to create your poster. When you're done, take a picture and enter! Be sure to save the original art so we can display it at our adoption center if you win!
Original poster size can be any size (i.e. 11" by 17" or 8.5" by 11" or 9" by 12" horizontal or vertical).
Submit your entry in one of the following age categories using the form provided at
gogophotocontest.com/agooddogrescue:
- Ages 5-6
- Ages 7-9
- Ages 10-13
- Ages 14-18
Please make sure you include the following:
- Artist's name
- City/Town
- E-mail
- Phone #
- Age of artist
- Title of artwork
- Short story/description about your artwork and how it relates to the contest theme
Do original work; no tracing, group work or computer generated art. Only one entry per artist.
Photo Requirements:
Photos must be high resolution, clear and in-focus, and have no pixelation.
Reminder to save your original art! Winning posters will be displayed in the lobby of A Good Dog Rescue's adoption center. Winners can either mail or drop off their original art at A Good Dog Rescue, 260 6th Street, Verplanck, NY 10596. We are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week.
Voting:
Share your entry page with your friends, family and community via e-mail and social media so they can vote! There is a $1 donation per vote. All proceeds benefit the dogs at A Good Dog Rescue.
The top participant in each age category by number of votes will be declared the winner at the end of the voting period. In addition, there will be one "Rescue's Choice" winner awarded (chosen by A Good Dog Rescue staff member).
