1. Eligibility:
The contest is open to anyone with a pet - cats, dogs, guinea pigs, cows, and everything in between! Photos must feature animals that are personally owned by the entrant or by someone who has granted permission for the photo to be submitted.
2. Entry Period:
Entries and voting will take place simultaneously from 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, November 10, 2025 through midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Sunday, November 30, 2025. All entries and votes must be submitted by midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Sunday, November 30, 2025 to be counted.
3. How to Enter:- Submit your favorite pet photo through the contest page.
- Include your pet's name
- There is a $5 donation per photo entry, which helps support the animals at Almost Home Animal Rescue.
- You may submit multiple photos - each photo requires a separate entry donation.
4. How to Vote:- Voting is donation-based — $1 equals 1 vote.
- Votes can be cast online through the contest page.
- You can vote as many times and for as many pets as you like!
- All donations from entries and votes directly benefit Almost Home Animal Rescue.
5. Photo Requirements:- Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi preferred).
- Only pets—no people—should appear in photos.
- Almost Home reserves the right to reject entries that are blurry, low-quality, or inappropriate.
- All photos that meet the basic criteria will be included in the calendar!
6. Winners & Prizes:- The Overall Winner (pet with the most votes) will be featured exclusively on the cover of the 2026 calendar. Additionally, their human will earn a free copy of the calendar!
- The Next 12 pets with the highest votes will be featured prominently as monthly features, surrounded by other entries.
- All eligible photo submissions will appear somewhere in the calendar, ensuring every pet is included.
- Winner's will be announced on December 5th on Almost Home Animal Rescue's Facebook page.
7. Rights & Permissions:
By entering, you grant Almost Home Animal Rescue permission to use your photo(s) in our printed and digital materials, including the 2026 calendar, social media, and promotional content.
