Coolest Pet of Erie County

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 pets that receive the most votes.

Top Pet -- First Place:

The pet with the most votes will be crowned the "Coolest Pet in Erie" for 2024.

Second Place:

The pet with the second highest number of votes will be deemed the "Second Coolest Pet in Erie" for 2024.

In the event that the first-place pet is unable or unwilling to fulfill all of the roles and responsibilities of being the Coolest Pet in Erie, the second-place pet will assume that title and receive all of the benefits described above.

Third Place:

The Pet with the third highest number of votes will be deemed the "Third Coolest Pet in Erie" for 2024.

Rules

The Coolest Pet Contest is open to anyone in the known universe 21-years-old or older who would like to enter their pet to compete for the coveted title of "The Coolest Pet" for 2024.

Submit a photo of your pet. Provide a few short sentences why your pet is the coolest of the cool. Photos should be digital and high enough resolution to look good on the internet. No photos of people, just your pet. Photos should be in crisp focus.

There is a $10.00 fee to enter your pet, but you automatically receive 10 votes when you submit your pet! If you have multiple pets, please take separate photos of each and post them separately. The $10.00 posting fee applies to each pet entered.

Pet Owners are encouraged to have their friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers go to the contest website and vote for your pet.

Votes cost $1.00 per vote with no maximum on how many votes a person can buy. For example, you can give 50 votes to your favorite pet by donating $50.00 in a single transaction via the website. You can come back to the site as many times as you want and donate votes as often as you'd like. Pet owners themselves will be able to buy as many votes as they'd like too.

So Why Are We Really Doing This?

Ok, folks, here's the bigger reason for running a Coolest Pet in Erie Contest. We're raising money to help the Anna Shelter and the community.

Dollars raised through this campaign will be donated to the Anna Shelter and the Millcreek Kiwanis. So, enter your Pet, vote often, and get in on the excitement!

Anna Shelter

Anna Shelter is a nonprofit, no kill, open admission animal welfare organization. It is our goal to provide unwanted, stray, abused or neglected animals with a safe nurturing loving environment where they can be either reunited with their owners or placed into new life long loving homes.

We are committed to providing these animals the proper care and attention they need to thrive in our facility and try to accommodate their individual needs.

Ultimately, we will work daily to provide as many adoptable animals as possible the opportunity to find new homes regardless of space or time restrictions.

Giving each animal a chance saving one animal at a time.
