Kiwanis Club of Millcreek
Mission: To serve the children of the world by working to improve the lives of children and families one child and one community at a time. Who We Are: The Kiwanis Club of Millcreek is a membership-based service organization dedicated to improving the Millcreek, Pennsylvania community. Partnering with local nonprofit organizations and businesses, we use our club's resources to:
- improve quality of life through hands-on service projects.
- make a broader impact on pressing community problems through philanthropic initiatives; and
- stay informed about issues affecting our community through bi-weekly forums with community leaders.
As a part of the Kiwanis International family, we join with thousands of clubs around the globe that are focused on serving the children of the world.
What it Means to be a Member of the Kiwanis Club of Millcreek: Being a member of the Kiwanis Club of Millcreek means being part of a diverse, active group of individuals who genuinely desire to make a positive impact on the community. Members support and encourage one another, building lasting friendships as they work together through hands-on service projects, philanthropic initiatives, and weekly discussion of important community issues.
Our Vision: The Kiwanis Club of Millcreek envisions a day in which our club's impact in the community is widely known and clearly measurable. We will accomplish this through partnerships with community leaders, nonprofits and businesses that share our mission to improve the lives of children and families.
Anna Shelter
Anna Shelter is a nonprofit, no kill, open admission animal welfare organization. It is our goal to provide unwanted, stray, abused or neglected animals with a safe nurturing loving environment where they can be either reunited with their owners or placed into new life long loving homes.
We are committed to providing these animals the proper care and attention they need to thrive in our facility and try to accommodate their individual needs.
Ultimately, we will work daily to provide as many adoptable animals as possible the opportunity to find new homes regardless of space or time restrictions.
Giving each animal a chance saving one animal at a time.
