Every dog deserves to be celebrated. Whether you're in Phoenix or across the country, all breeds and all ages are welcome in the AZK9 Rescue 2027 Calendar Contest. Enter your pet for $5, vote for your favorites for $1 each, and help support the rescue, care, and rehoming of Arizona's overlooked pets. The top 12 vote-getters earn a spot in the 2027 calendar, with the #1 winner also taking the cover.
Grand Prizes:
The top 12 vote-getters will be featured in the 2027 AZK9 Rescue Calendar. The photo you submit is the photo that will be printed in the calendar.
The #1 Vote-Getter:
Wins the coveted cover spot and will be featured as a Pet of the Month. In addition, they get to pick which month they're featured in!
2nd -12th Place Winners:
Will each have their pet featured as a Pet of the Month.
Reserve a Special Spot In The Calendar For Your Pet:Honor your pet or celebrate a gotcha-day or birthday by reserving an empty grid space (before or after the numbered squares) for their photo. Choose a favorite photo, a month, and pay. Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis; don't delay! Each grid space is just $10.

Rules
Entries:
- Each entry is a $5 fee.
- Limit of ONE PET PER PHOTO entry. People are not allowed in photos, only your pet. We ask that no human faces be in the photo; if a human is present, their face must be out of the frame. Photos that do not follow these rules will be removed and will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
- All breeds are welcome to enter.
- All photos must be uploaded digitally; we cannot accept printed photos.
- You must own the rights to any photo you submit. Photos copyrighted by another party are not eligible.
- The Submissions Period starts at 10:00 AM (US Mountain Time) on Friday, April 24, 2026 and ends at 7:00 PM (US Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
- Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- Any photograph that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by AZK9 Rescue in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
- Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. Winners are determined by the top 12 entries with the most votes. The same pet can only win once; attempts to secure two calendar spots by the same pet will not be permitted.
Voting:- Votes are $1 each with a five-vote minimum.
- Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
- All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page through a secure payment portal.
- Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
- The Voting Period starts at 10:00 AM (US Mountain Time) on Friday, April 24, 2026 and ends at 7:00 PM (US Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
The Fine Print:- By submitting a photo, you confirm that the image is your own original work, that you own all rights to it, and that it is not copyrighted by another party. By uploading, you grant AZK9 Rescue a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your photo for the AZK9 Calendar fundraiser, including print publication, social media, and promotional materials. You retain ownership of your photo. If you submit an image copyrighted by another individual, you are solely responsible for any resulting legal action.
- Calendars will be available to the general public in the Fall of 2026.
- The photo you submit will be the image printed in the calendar.
- By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless AZK9 Rescue and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, and agents from any claims arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
About AZK9 Rescue
AZK9 Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving Arizona's underserved communities through a tri-fold mission of education, sterilization, and rescue. Founded by volunteers who wanted to make a real difference in the lives of companion animals in Maricopa County, AZK9 focuses on the dogs who need it most - the overlooked, the hard to place, and the ones who simply haven't had their second chance yet.
For every dog in our care, that means thorough medical treatment, training, and socialization so they can find the loving home they deserve. We believe every life is worth saving, and no animal is a lost cause.
How We Got Here
In 2010, we launched Lost Paws: Sterilization, Education, and Rescue with a straightforward goal - do something that matters for pets and the people who love them. What started as a small group of friends offering free spay and neuter services and shelter intervention has grown into AZK9 Rescue, with an expanded focus that now includes senior pets and complex medical cases.
Our roots haven't changed. We're still the same community of people who show up because the animals need us to. We're proud to be part of a movement building lasting change in animal welfare and endlessly grateful to everyone who has stood with us along the way.
