Send your dog’s photo link to your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers and encourage them to vote for your dog to win one of the coveted spots in our 2025 Calendar. Votes are $1.00 each ($5.00 minimum) and are tax deductible donations to the Barky Bunch Rescue. Voting is open as soon as you submit your photo. The contest closes at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, November 1, 2024.
This is our first fundraiser of this kind and we need your help to make it a success. Every dollar aids a dog in need find a new home. Please share this contest widely so we may reach our fundraising goals! Each vote makes a BIG impact on helping the Barky Bunch Rescue work towards its mission.

Contest Entry
- Only Barky Bunch Alumni or Barky Bunch dogs available for rescue are eligible to participate. Photos of non-Barky Bunch dogs will be removed.
- There is no fee to submit a contest entry.
- Entries must be submitted online.
- One entry per Barky Bunch Alumni is allowed.
- Once entered, all photos become the property of the Barky Bunch Rescue and can be used, edited, or modified to further promote the contest and/or rescue through marketing efforts without any compensation.
- Any photo or caption deemed inappropriate as determined by the Barky Bunch Rescue Board will be removed from the photo contest.
- Contestants must provide their name and email address so we may notify the winner. Registration information shared by participants when creating an account to submit a photo entry will be kept strictly confidential by the Barky Bunch Rescue.
Photo Requirements
- Photos should be in focus, of high quality, and in the highest resolution possible to ensure proper printing, in either .jpg or .png format. We recommend photos of at least 1600x1200 pixels or 300 dpi.
- Photo must feature one pet only.
- Photos must contain only pets – no humans.
- We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles or any digital effects. The Barky Bunch Rescue reserves the right to edit photos accordingly for both printing in 2025 Calendar and/or for future marketing purposes.
- If photos include pets not owned by the person entering the photo, the entrant must receive written permission from the pet's owner for usage in the contest.
Contest Voting
- Every $1 donation counts as one vote (minimum of five votes, or $5).
- Due to processing costs, a minimum $5 donation is required
- Votes are unlimited.
- All donations from voting and entries are non-refundable.
- You determine if you wish to place all votes on one entry or spread your votes to several of your favorites! Votes will be instantly converted to a vote bank, giving voters the option to vote NOW or LATER (using their banked votes). All votes must be applied to selected photos by the end of the voting period.
- All votes are donations to the Barky Bunch Rescue and are fully tax deductible and help support medical care for rescued dogs. The email acknowledgement of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
Contest Deadlines
- The submission and voting periods begin at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, October 11, 2024.
- The submission and voting periods end at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Other Stuff
- Void where prohibited.
- If, for any reason, the Barky Bunch Rescue determines the contest is not capable of continuing as planned, the Barky Bunch Rescue reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Barky Bunch Rescue, fundraiser sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
