Rules

Eligibility:

1. Contest is open to any U.S.A. resident 18 years of age or older.
2. Photo does NOT need to be of an animal rescued or adopted.
3. Photo does NOT need to be of an animal rescue or adopted through the Brooklyn Paws Foundation.
4. You may enter a photo of an animal that crossed the rainbow bridge.
5. People are NOT allowed in photographs.
6. No product placement, advertising in photos or in any other part of the entry is permitted
7. Only domestic animals are permitted ( no people + no wildlife)
8. Multiple pets in one image are allowed. 
9. Animals that are illegal will not disqualified.
10. Please ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background
11. Photos must be full color, no heavy filter, edited or altered.
12. Photos must either feature animals owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from owner to submit their image.
13. Photos deemed offensive, indecent, cruel or obscene will be removed from the contest.
14. Only digital submissions will be accepted, no hard copies.
15. Photos must be high resolution (300dpi or greater) in landscape ( horizontal ) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar. Photos must be a minimum of 3600x2700 pixels (or 12x9 inches) at a resolution of 300 DPI. PNG, JPG and TIFF image formats are accepted.
16. Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar.
17. Once entered, photos can / may be used for online print, or marketing purposes and become the property of the Brooklyn Paws Foundation.
18. We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason.
19. All entries must be original work of the entrant. You must own copyright to the photograph.
