Entrants:
Entries are limited to Dogs (and their animal pals in specified categories)—and may be exhibitor dogs, rescue dogs, family pets or combination of any of the aforementioned.
Commercially reproduced photographs are acceptable
with proper releases. If your professional photographer would like to donate to our fundraiser, we will acknowledge them on the fundraiser sponsor page.
Entry Fees & Voting:
Each entry is $25 per photo per each category entered. The same dog may be entered (and win) in multiple categories. Individuals may enter more than one dog. Submissions will be accepted on-line only from August 27, 2022 to October 5, 2022 9 pm.
Entrants and the general public can "Donate-to-Vote" for their favorites by buying votes in $5 bundles. These bundled votes may be divided among their favorite entrants or all used for one particular entrant. Voting will occur from August 27 through October 5, 2022 until 9 pm (Pacific Standard Time).
After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to "donate-to-vote" by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind, once votes are cast those votes are final and may not be refunded, combined, or moved from one entry to another.
Do donors have to use votes all at once? Purchasers of "Vote-to-Donate" votes do not have to use all votes at the time of purchase. Upon purchase, donors will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one image or storing the votes in an account. If voters choose to store votes, those votes can be accessed with a User ID and password at any time during the contest voting period.

Judging:
Dogs in each of the 10 categories with the most votes will be determined the winner in that category.
Prizes:
- Top vote getters in each category will have their photos printed in Blackhawk Living Magazine and receive a special Gift Basket.
- Each entrant entered is entitled to a treat.
