Your Rescue Story
Isla was rescued in 2020 as our "pandemic" dog. She joined our family which already included a 10yr old chocolate lab named Daisy. She immediately blended into our life enjoying her new exercise routine, and toys. She also brought some young energy back into our home and shared it with daisy. Her and Daisy became the closest dogs always playing, grooming, and sleeping together. Daisy taught Isla a lot about being a dog in a loving family, and helped her learn the rules and how toys worked. Daisy also showed Isla how much fun hiking and camping with your family is. They spent two wonderful years together before Daisy unfortunately passed due to a brain tumor in November of 2022. Isla was the sweetest dog to Daisy, and in her last week's, she helped Daisy navigate the house and find her way.
In the almost three years we've had her now she's grown into my best friend and soulmate. She's always up for a hike or a walk and enjoy exploring as much as I do. She's also amazing at giving snuggles and company on the days I struggle to get up and feel loved. She's a constant positive force in my life and I truly have no idea where I would be without here. Probably not here if I'm being honest.
