Sophie came in to my life when my step-mom rescued her from a kill shelter in Virginia. For those that don't know her story she was one of the sweetest Chows we've rescued. You see Sophie was born blind and left in a shelter at 10 weeks old. We took her into our rescue to find her a home but soon realized there was more going on than we realized. We had all kinds of test done and found out that she had so much going on. Sadly we had to put her to sleep when she was only a year old but we will never forget her.
