Darbster Rescue is pleased to announce its third annual Photo Calendar Contest with this year's special theme of "Make My Day!"

Send in your favorite photo of your rescue dog or cat and tell us how he or she makes your day. Don't hold back – you know your fur baby is amazing! And while having fun posting pics and voting for contestants, you will also  make the day, week, month, year…the LIFE of more rescue dogs and kitties.  All proceeds from this contest will go to the rescue, transport and transport efforts of Darbster Rescue.

Simply submit a photo of your beautiful rescue dog or kitty and include a brief bio or story about how your pet makes your day with the $5 one-time entry fee. Then encourage all your friends and family to vote! Every vote raises $1 to save animals in our community. The top 13 photos will be featured in our Annual Calendar with up 24 of the runner-ups and staff favorites displayed as well. All photo candidates will be entered into our RAFFLE contest with $100 and $50 Amazon gift cards as prizes! (details & drawing date to be announced).  And this year's calendar will be larger (10' x 11") to even better showcase your beautiful rescues pups and kitties!

Entries and voting open on June 1 at 9:00 am and continues to July 15 at 9:00 pm. You can vote as many times and as often as you would like!

If you do not want to compete in the photo contest, you can still participate and help save homeless animals. For a $15 donation, you can have a date blocked on the calendar with a photo of your pet. This is the perfect chance to celebrate a birthday, honor a pet's memory or just show off your wonderful best friend.


The top 13 photos with the most votes will win a coveted spot in our calendar.


First place winner will be featured on the cover and will have a free professional photo session with their rescue pet.


Places 2-13 will be featured on the month pages with their winning photos.


The next 24 runners up will be featured on the back page.


Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
