Rules

1. Contest Name and Duration: The photo contest, titled "Swift Snaps: Journeying Through the Eras for Animal Welfare," will commence at 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, March 17, 2025 and will conclude at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 28, 2025.

2. Contest Closure and Winner Announcement: The contest will end during our "Tailored for Tails: A Swift Promenade" dance party, where the winners will be announced online via Facebook Live.

3. Entry Fee and Submission Details: Participants are required to pay a $35 entry fee to submit a photo of their pet. This fee includes a calendar and five starting votes. Photos must not include any people. Entries with people will be disqualified.

4. Voting: Each vote costs $1. Participants are encouraged to enlist the support of friends and family to vote for their pet.

5. Categories: There are 12 categories, representing different "Eras" in your pet's life. Participants are encouraged to enter their pet in more than one "Era."

6. Calendar Feature: Winners of each "Era" category will be featured on a different month in our 2025 calendar. Additionally, 30 participants that have earned 20 votes or more will be eligible for inclusion in our greeting card pack.

7. Photo Requirements: Photos must be a minimum of 3600x2700 pixels (or 12x9 inches) at a resolution of 300 DPI. PNG and JPG image formats are accepted.

8. Calendar Day Reservation: Participants have the option to reserve a spot in the calendar for their pet's photo and name on a specific day of the year for $15. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

9. Eligibility: Participants do not need to have adopted from our shelter, and everyone is welcome to enter their pet.

10. Calendar Release: Calendars will be available for purchase at $25 each and will be released a few months after the contest ends.

11. *Multiple Animals in One Photo: Multiple animals are allowed in a single photo submission.

12. Disqualification: Any participant found not complying with these rules may be disqualified from the contest.
