Faithful Friends Animal Society is proud to announce the Pet of the Year 2025 Competition! Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, or any other pet adopted from Faithful Friends are welcome to participate. All pets participating will have their photo presented on our designated webpage. The public chooses their favorite pet among the photos of the contestants and "votes" by placing a donation on the designated pet donation page. All donation “votes” will be doubled by a generous group of supporters.
We encourage you to share with friends and family on Facebook so they can vote through our website. At the end of the contest, the money garnished from each contestant totaled and the winning pet is the one whose photo has brought in the most donations.
Prize
- The winning pet will be included in promos on social media, and our e-news and receive a prize pack!
Although there can only be one winner, the spirit of the contest is for all the lucky pets in loving homes to raise as much money as possible to support the many animals still waiting for their forever homes. It is a fun and rewarding contest. A vote for any of these pets is a vote to support all the animals in our community in need of loving homes.
Rules
Submissions will be accepted through December 22nd. Each submission is $25 and counts towards our $375,000 Match Challenge!

Faithful Friends was founded with Jane Pierantozzi at the helm to fight for better outcomes for animals that end up in shelters. Today, Faithful Friends is committed to a No Kill philosophy. We strive to end killing for all animals who are not irremediably suffering, rigorously defined. Our approach can save ALL healthy, treatable, and trainable animals which in most communities across the country equates to a 90% or higher save rate.
