The top 12 dogs with the most votes will be featured in the 2026 Dogs of Fort Lauderdale Calendar.
The dog with the highest votes overall will appear on the cover.

Prizes

Winning dogs will receive a 30-minute professional portrait session at one of Fort Lauderdale’s iconic landmarks, chosen by the photographer (Mario Mihalik of Mr. Paw Portraits).
Portrait sessions will take place after winners are announced, with dates to be determined.
Owners of winning dogs will receive 1 complimentary calendar.
Additional calendars, wall art, albums, and other products featuring their dog’s portrait will be available for purchase.

Rules

Dogs of Fort Lauderdale Calendar Contest – Official Rules

Eligibility
- Open to all dog owners in Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas.
- All breeds, ages, and sizes welcome.
Entry Guidelines
- Each entry is for one dog only (no photos with multiple dogs in the same entry).
- You may submit multiple dogs, but each requires a separate entry.
- Photos must be original, high-quality, and owned by the entrant.
Entry Fee
- $5 per entry (supports Saving Sage Animal Rescue).
- Entries open at 6:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 1, 2025, and will be accepted until 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Voting
- Voting is open to the public from 6:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 1, 2025 – 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
- Each vote costs $1 (all proceeds go to Saving Sage Animal Rescue).
- Voters may cast unlimited votes for their favorite dogs.

Use of Images / Model Release
- By entering, participants agree that their dog’s image may be used in the calendar and in future marketing and commercial use by Mr. Paw Portraits, Saving Sage Animal Rescue, and any other sponsors involved with the calendar.
- A signed model release will be required from winners prior to their portrait session.

- Entries Open: 6:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 1, 2025
- Entries Close: 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 21, 2025
- Voting Period: 6:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 1, 2025 – 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 21, 2025

Charity
- 100% of voting proceeds will be donated to Saving Sage Animal Rescue.
