Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue 2027 Calendar Photo Contest

We know you love your Weimaraners. Show them off and join the fun in competing to have your Weim on the GLWR 2027 Calendar. Every Weimaraner has a story and a camera-ready moment! From majestic poses to everyday mischief, we want to see what makes your Weimaraner special! Submit your best photo for a chance to be featured in our calendar and celebrated all year long.

Each vote costs $1 and all funds raised during the photo contest will go toward the needs and care of the rescue dogs with Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

Prizes

Grand Prize (1):

The photo with the most votes will appear on the 2027 Calendar Cover and a featured month.

Runners Up (11):

The top eleven photos with the most votes will be the featured dog for one of the remaining eleven months.

Submitters of the top twelve photos will also receive a complimentary calendar.

Rules

Each photograph must include only Weimaraners and Weimaraner mixes. The contest is open to all Weimaraners, not only GLWR rescues. Please, no other dogs or humans allowed in the photos.
Digital photographs must be at least 1500 x 1500 pixels. Lesser resolution cannot be used as they do not produce calendar-quality printed photos.
Photos with red eyes or glowing eyes will not be accepted.
Photos with dogs wearing training collars (e.g., choke, prong, shock collars) will not be accepted.
Photos with dogs holding prey will not be accepted.
Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
No AI generated photos/alterations will be accepted.
GLWR has final approval on all photos submitted.
Submitted photographs become property of GLWR. GLWR reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary.
All digital photos must be uploaded (printed photos cannot be accepted).
Photo submission must include:

Name of Dog
Owner's Name
Owner's Email Address
City and State/Province
Text sharing something special about the dog in the photo.

There is a $10 photo submission fee.
