Bark & Gold Photography, in partnership with Gray Paws Sanctuary, is thrilled to launch the official Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds cover contest!
This special coffee table book celebrates the heartwarming stories of Pittsburgh’s senior dogs and the unshakable bonds they share with their people. And now, we’re inviting you to help decide which dogs will grace the front and back covers.
Proceeds from this contest will go toward printing costs, with 100% of the book’s sales directly supporting the life-changing work of Gray Paws Sanctuary. From offering a loving home through its home-based sanctuary to covering all medical expenses for adoptive families via its Forever Foster and Medical Coverage Program, Gray Paws ensures senior dogs live their final chapter with comfort, care, and dignity. Its Love Your Animal for Life (LOYAL) Program also helps eligible pet owners to care for their aging animals at home by providing accessible medical support and funding designed to prevent surrender or premature euthanasia.
Grand Prizes
The pet* with the most votes will shine on the front cover of the book.
The pet* who comes in second place will be featured on the back cover of the book.
Runner Up Prizes
Pets* in 3rd through 10th place will be featured on exclusive Timeless Tails bookmarks, gifted with every pre-ordered copy of the book.
*Senior pets photographed together will be featured together as a pair on the cover or bookmark, depending on their final placement. They’ll share the spotlight—just like they did during their session. Shared portraits mean shared fame.

Rules
- Votes are $1 each with a five-vote minimum.
- Each $1 donation counts as one (1) vote.
- The Voting Period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 7, 2025 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 21, 2025.
- All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
- Donations for voting fees are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
- If multiple pets have received the same total number of votes, final placement will be determined solely by the electronic vote tabulations managed by GoGo Photo Contest and the pet's placement among the top 10 on the final leaderboard. These tabulations are performed under their direct supervision and control. Their determination is final and binding.
The Fine Print
- Final cover images of the winning entrants will be chosen solely by Bark & Gold Photography.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Bark & Gold Photography and Gray Paws Sanctuary and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
- Bark & Gold Photography will have the final say on winning entries. Should an entry receive votes that places it among the top 10 entries and the person in charge of that entry corresponds with or speaks to the photographer or Gray Paws Sanctuary and their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, or agents in a manner which is rude, condescending, or aggressive, the entry’s votes will be overruled and that entry will be withdrawn from the contest, disqualified, and removed with no opportunity for a refund. The next highest vote getter will be chosen by Bark & Gold Photography in its place.
Since 2014, Gray Paws Sanctuary has been a safe haven for senior dogs in western Pennsylvania. This 501(c)(3) non-profit exists to provide comfort, care, and dignity to aging dogs in their final chapter, especially those at risk of being surrendered, overlooked, or euthanized simply due to age or medical needs.
Whether placed in a Forever Foster Home or cared for in Gray Paws' home-based sanctuary, each dog receives individualized medical treatment, physical therapy, socialization, and above all, love. Gray Paws supports senior dogs through three core programs, including its home-based sanctuary for those needing permanent, loving care; its Forever Foster and Medical Coverage Program, which allows adoptive families to open their hearts and homes while Gray Paws Sanctuary covers all medical expenses; and its Love Your Animal for Life (LOYAL) Program, which provides preventive care and support to help aging pets stay with the families who love them.
Gray Paws Sanctuary has no paid employees. Everything is run by its dedicated co-founders, board of directors, and volunteers. Every dollar raised goes directly toward the dogs. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
