For 45 years, Helen Woodward Animal Center has been committed to the philosophy of people helping animals and animals helping people. The overall goal of the Center is not only to save the lives of as many orphan pets as possible, but to provide valuable community services that strengthen the animal-human bond through education and training. A few of our many programs are: PET (Pet Encounter Therapy), Therapeutic Riding (serving riders with special needs through equine-assisted activities), AniMobile (humane education brought to low-income schools), AniMeals (benefitting seniors and disabled veterans), and Pets Without Walls (benefitting the animals of the homeless community in San Diego). These programs are only some of the vital community services that we offer to animals and people in need. Join us in making a difference!

Thanks for helping us raise
