The top 3 participants to receive the most votes, when the voting period ends, will be contacted by Helen Woodward Animal Center to claim the following prizes:
1st Place:
The pet with the most votes will be Helen Woodward Animal Center’s "San Diego's Finest and Furriest" and will be awarded the following prizes:
- Your furry friend will receive their own private photoshoot* and receive a full-page feature in the 2024 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar
- A guest seat at the 2024 Surf Dog Costume Contest Judge’s Panel
- 2 silver tickets to the 2024 Spring Fling Gala
2nd & 3rd Place:
The 2nd & 3rd place winners will be awarded the following prizes.
- A full-page feature in the 2024 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar
- A basket of Center goodies
The Top 11 Pets Overall:
The top 11 pets with the most votes will also have a full-page feature in the 2024 Helen Woodward Animal Center calendar. One pet will be selected through a Nelson Photo & Video contest. Contact Nelson Photo & Video for details here.
Additionally, all participants who raise a minimum of $100 for your photo will receive a free 2024 San Diego's Finest and Furriest Calendar.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
*A new color portrait may be taken of the domestic pet(s), whose photo was submitted to the contest, by a professional photographer chosen by Helen Woodward Animal Center. Photo session must take place on-site at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA before November 2023. The Center reserves the right to select which photo of the set will be featured.
