The top 80 fundraisers will have a thumbnail size version of the photo they submitted of their bunny on the collage page of the 2026 calendar.

All rabbits are encouraged to enter the contest.  To enter your pet, you must include Your Pet’s Name, Your First and Last Name, Your City and State and a short paragraph telling your pet’s story.  All contestants must submit their photo to the GoGo Photo Contest website.  We cannot accept applications or photos in person. Contest begins on June 15, 2025.  All contestants must be entered in the competition by 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. 

Entering the contest is free.  Each $1 donation will count as one vote toward the selected contestant.  A large amount of votes can be stored in a donor’s “Vote Bank” which can be distributed at a later time and to multiple contestants before the contest ends. The deadline to submit votes is 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Acceptable formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif

Pictures should only feature the pet being entered in the contest.  Do not share a photo that has multiple animals (other than bonded pairs or trios, etc.) or people.

Pictures must be in color.

The pet featured in the photo may not be edited or altered other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments.

Pictures must not be copyrighted.

Any picture that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene as determined by Hoppy Hearts SC may be removed from the contest.

Any picture of bunnies in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation as deemed by Hoppy Hearts SC will be removed from the contest.  Please do not enter photos of bunnies dressed up in costumes, harnesses, or in hutches, etc.

Winners will be determined by the number of votes received per contestant.  All submitted photos will be displayed on an online gallery and will be open to voting by the general public.  The voting period will end at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.  Votes must be registered by the online system before the deadline ends to be counted for the contest.  If you are submitting votes close to the deadline, please remember that processing time is necessary to register votes.  We recommend using your vote bank to ensure that credit card processing has occurred before end of contest.  We recommend not waiting until the last 30 minutes of the contest to submit a large number of votes.

To vote, go to the contestant page that you wish to support and donate a minimum of $1 per vote.  When voters donate, they will be given the option to apply all of their votes to one contestant, or spread their votes over various contestants, or store votes in a “vote bank” to be used at a later time.  All voted for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

Use the social media links within the contest to promote your bunny to your friends and family and encourage them to share on their pages as well.  The more people who know about your entry, the more likely you will win.

Get cash sponsorships – You can collect cash donations for your pet from friends and family and acquaintances and then simply apply the amounts to yourself, using your own login information and credit card.  This is an easy way to get votes, because you are collecting the funds directly and supporters do not have to create an account.

Remind supporters that every donation goes to support the bunnies of Hoppy Hearts SC.  We rely completely on donations and volunteers to run our rescue.
 

The winning participants will be contacted by Hoppy Hearts SC and given instructions.  

All winners and entrants will receive a complimentary calendar.

A collage of the top 80 entries will be included on a page in the calendar.
