Harley came to us through Blue Star Mothers of Vermont who helps veterans and service members find temporary homes for their dogs for any reason. We were supposed to foster Harley for 6 months to a year but then it turned out that the veteran asked me to keep her. She is such a good dog and loves her doggy brother, Homer, very much! She actually is a purebred Border Terrier which I never thought I would have because there are so many wonderful mutts who need homes. But she needed a home too and we gave her one!
