Dog's Story or Bio
Maya was abandoned by her original owners at a nearby conservation. She had spent a couple nights at the entrance of the park and then we (my s.o and I) found out about her. We went to pick her up and a woman was sitting with her, trying to gain her trust for over an hour. I’m so thankful for that woman! She helped us get Maya into our truck, and the rest is history. We’ve had her for over a year now, and she has been the absolute best dog we could ask for. She loves to run for hours and play lots of fetch, but her favorite thing to do is help us with herding our flock of chickens!
