Your Pet's Story or Bio
Our first Kauai rescue dog, Lilikoi, passed away from cancer three weeks before our Kauai Thanksgiving and birthday trip. My grief was profound, but my daughter convinced us to go back to the shelter to see if there was a puppy waiting to come home with us. Another adorable black and white hound mix little girl was in the last row of puppies we visited. I picked her up and immediately fell in love. Her paws wrapped around my neck, her sweet kisses made me cry as I knew our beloved Likikoi was there in spirit to connect us as a family. Mea embodies the Aloha Spirt as our family is whole again!
