Silly, anxious, loving, cautious, playful, and faithful. She has this funny sitting position, where she looks like a human! We were connected with a family on Kauai, who has one of her puppies - and the puppy does the exact same thing. (They also look like twins!)

Your Pet's Story or Bio
Lehua is from Kauai and had a foster family. She was in pretty rough shape, with a lot of skin issues and malnourished when she was brought to the shelter. We had no intention of adopting a dog, but when we saw her face on the "up for adoption" website - and followed up with a video call, we knew she was for us. She is such a sweetheart, and while she is on the "high maintenance" side, with her anxiousness - she is loved BIG and we are so thankful she is ours... she is living her best life! Our kiddos think there is no other better dog in the world... and we are so glad we adopted her.
