Your Pet's Story or Bio
Lolly is a 3 year old Catahoula/Pharaoh Hound mix that was born deaf. I took her in at 8 weeks old since she was unable to hunt due to her deafness. Being a “working dog” we started her training immediately and she learned many hand cues before she was even 4 months old. When Lolly was about a year old we started scentwork training since she likes to have a job. She is great at it and did lots of Nosework training and did training to sniff out downed seabirds. Nowadays we just do lots of fun Nosework games for entertainment. Lolly loves to play with her dog friends and enjoys running with me. Lolly can be found at our day job at Natural Pet Hawaii being an ambassador for all the amazing deaf dogs out in the world needing homes.
