Your Pet's Unique Traits
Ursus was one of my favorite dogs to take out and off the shelter campus. He was always so friendly and a little goofy too. He was a joy to walk with, never pulling and occasionally would look back to check on me. Also one of the traits I loved about him was how affectionate he was. He allowed pets, scratches on his neck and leaned into me. What a great dog.


Your Pet's Story or Bio
Ursus was a shelter dog at the East Bay SPCA where I volunteer. I would take him out every week to a park where he was able to get away and enjoy the walk and peaceful quiet with huge areas of grass and large trees. It was almost a mile away so he got to release some energy and do a lot of sniffaries along the way and at the park. Recently, after some months, he finally got his forever family. I miss him but there are many new four legged friends I can share a trip to the park with.
