Your Pet's Story or Bio
My wife and I adopted Jade from a local rescue. Jade’s original owners were neglectful- while in their care she jumped out of a moving vehicle and was hit by oncoming traffic, which resulted in her back left leg being amputated. They ‘gave’ her to a foster after she lost her leg. However, as a Belgian Malinois, being a tripod does not slow her down one bit!
We go for twice daily walks of at least 3 miles, have spent many hours training her, and have taught her numerous tricks. She is hands down the smartest dog we have ever owned. She has brought so much joy into our lives after we both lost our dogs we brought into our marriage. Jade is living her best life, even as a tripod. And it’s probably a good thing, because she can’t scale our six-foot wall to chase rabbits or neighborhood cats!
