Back in March 2018 Pearl’s original owner of 10 years had to surrender Pearl to Safe Harbor as the lady was going into an assisted living facility. The lady even left a biography describing Pearl’s likes & dislikes. Pearl was going downhill at the shelter due to being so scared & confused. A local rescue group was called & they happily fostered her. She was still scared & confused. I was contacted by the rescue group asking if I was looking to adopt. One year later Pearl has really come out of her shell & has learned to trust her new momma & daddy. She is such a ham, loves kisses, cuddling & gives a lot of head butts.
