Kindred Kitties is hosting our second photo calendar contest fundraiser for pets and pet lovers! The contest is open to all species of pets – not just cats. This is your chance to show off your beloved pet's good looks and charming personality while supporting the care of kitties awaiting their forever homes.

From Monday, July 29, 2019 (12:01 a.m. CST) through Monday, September 9, 2019 (10:00 p.m. CST) you can submit your favorite photo of a pet, or pets who are living and currently in your care, along with his/her/their story. Photos can be submitted even up to the last day of the contest! Then ask your friends and family to vote, just give them the link to the page! Voting is open to anyone.

Continue to track your pet's progress and keep an eye out for voting promotions that will be announced throughout the month! Contest updates will be sent via email and posted on Kindred Kitties' Facebook page! Please follow us!

Here are some things we learned from our first year of the contest.

• While you may submit a photo in "landscape' or "portrait" layout, if your pet wins one of the monthly calendar pages it will better cover the page if it is a "landscape" format. Again, you can submit your photo either way.
  
  
• Make sure your photo is of high quality.  In the event your pet wins, the photo will be enlarged to cover the page. If the company determines your winning photo is too grainy, we will contact you so we can do what's need to present your pet in the best manner possible.

• Due to popular demand, photos of MULTIPLE PETS are allowed in single photos as contest entries this year. Single pictures of multiple pets pay the regular registration fee of $20. Like last year, you may also enter more than one pet individually by paying separate $20 registration fees for each photo and each pet will receive their own votes. (There can still only be one pet in the photos for the reserved dates as the squares are quite small and you'll want everyone to see your sweet pet).
  
  
• ANY SPECIES OF PET CAN BE THE CALENDAR COVER PET IN 2020.

Our goal is to raise $8,000, and your participation is vital to the success of this fundraiser! YOU can help us save even more kitties in 2020!

Photo submissions and votes require a minimum donation to support the animals and programs at Kindred Kitties. IMPORTANT: Please click on Rules for complete participant guidelines and eligibility requirements. After reviewing the Rules, click on the "Participate" tab above to enter the contest.

Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a date to honor your pet or remember one who has passed away. Your pet's photo will appear on the date of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the date and pay! You need not enter the contest to reserve a date. First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. (Additionally, a few dates will be blocked for Kindred Kitties' events and important animal awareness days). Each date is $10. Because of the size of the date square on the calendar only one pet should be in the photo.



Please consider pre-ordering a calendar. This will help us purchase the right number of calendars so we don't waste valuable funds on extra stock.
