Rules

1. Photos and voting will be accepted on the contest website from 9:00 AM EST June 2, 2021, until July 2, 2021, at 12 PM EST.
   
   
2. One entry per pet
1. One pet per photo, per submission
2. Multiple pets must be made as separate submissions
   
   
3. All pets are eligible to enter; we want to encourage pets of all types to join the contest!
   
   
4. Entrance fee for the contest is $10 per entry. This includes 10 votes towards the pet submitted.
   
   
5. Memorial submissions are welcomed, a great tribute to a beloved companion to honour their memory. Unfortunately, In Memory photos will be ineligible to win (despite value raised), due to the pet needing to be present for the photoshoot.
   
   
6. The 12 winners with the highest number of votes will be asked to:
1. Bring their pet to a determined venue in order to have their pictures taken on the scheduled date (to be determined) with our photographer (pending COVID-19 regulations.)
   
   
7. The voting will end at 12:00PM EST Wednesday, July 2, 2021.
   
   
8. If there is a tie for any of the top 12 vote spots, the tiebreaker will be determined by the individual who submitted their entry first and this will be displayed accordingly on the home page under the Leaderboard. The pets who are displayed as the top 12 at the end of the competition on the home page under the Leaderboard will be the final winners.
   
   
9. Votes are $1 each; $20 will count for 20 Votes and $50 will count for 50 votes, etc. There is a minimum vote of $5.
   
   
10. Photos become the property of Lincoln County Humane Society. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. Lincoln County Humane Society reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. You agree to indemnify Lincoln County Humane Society and hold them harmless from and against any claims of any nature arising in connection with the Lincoln County Humane Society Calendar Photo Contest. Entrants grant Lincoln County Humane Society all rights of ownership, reproduction, and royalty-free indiscriminate use of entries and photographs for any purpose. By submitting a photo to the Lincoln County Humane Society Calendar Photo Contest, the artist agrees to give and grant to Lincoln County Humane Society its employees, nominees, agents, successors, and assigns, unlimited authorization, consent, and permission to publish and use, any and all information about the animal and any and all reproductions of animal's likeness (photographic or otherwise), and with or without the use or disclosure of guardian's name

When submitting your pet's photo for voting, please keep in mind city bylaws and leash laws and keep your pets safe.
