Pet's Story or Bio
Daisy Nelson was rescued by the NE GSP from an Oklahoma kill shelter. Before Daisy came to us she was shot and has buckshot throughout her body, often causing her pain. We manage her pain as best we can, and she is an amazing gentle, loving dog. She has mastered 14 tricks, squirrel chasing, staring at you until you give her a bite of her favorite foods which include toast, sweet potatoes, carrots, salmon, and kale, and carrying her menagerie of stuffed animals around the house. Her best pal is Lily, a rescued cat.
