Rules
Eligibility
- The contest is open to anyone who has adopted, fostered, or currently sponsors a sporting dog from any rescue organization — not limited to New Beginnings alumni.
- Eligible dogs include English Setters, pointers, spaniels, and all other sporting dog breeds or mixes.
- One entry per dog. Dogs of all ages are welcome.
Photo requirements
- No humans may appear in submitted photos. The star of every photo must be the dog or dogs.
- Photos must be original, taken by the person submitting the entry. No stock images or AI-generated photos.
- Submissions must be high resolution (minimum 1800 × 1800 pixels) to ensure quality in print production.
- Light editing (brightness, contrast, cropping) is permitted. Heavy manipulation, compositing, or filters that significantly alter the photo's appearance are not allowed.
- This contest has no entry fee. No purchase is necessary to enter or vote.
- New Beginnings Sporting Dog Rescue reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules or contains inappropriate content.
- All decisions by New Beginnings Sporting Dog Rescue are final. Winners will be announced following the close of voting.
At New Beginnings International Sporting Dog Rescue, our mission is to be a lifeline for abandoned, neglected, and abused sporting dogs—particularly Setters, Brittanys, and other Spaniels, Pointers and Retrievers—whose voices go unheard in places where help is desperately needed.
We focus our efforts on rescuing these extraordinary dogs from harsh conditions in Greece and other countries where hunting dogs are often discarded or mistreated. Through compassionate intervention, we provide safe shelter, vaccinations, medical treatment, and the rehabilitation they need to heal—both physically and emotionally.
Our ultimate goal is to give each dog a true second chance by placing them in loving, permanent homes across the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Every dog we rescue is a life transformed—from abandonment to belonging, from hardship to home.
