My dog is the coolest because...
Milo is a 2 year old yellow lab mix rescue with two different colored eyes!! He was rescued from Happily Ever After in August 2019. We loved his playful puppy energy (and of course, the eyes).

Our Milo is one of the stars of Rescue Story: Saving Companion Animals, a documentary about shelters, the overpopulation issue with dogs and cats, and what you can do to help (hint: you're doing it now if you're reading this!).

He is also one of the most fun-loving pups there is! He loves playing with other dogs, jumping, running after pretty much anything that moves, going to Tailwagger's Doggy Daycare, and pretty much anything as long as mommy is there (and maybe daddy too)! He does not enjoy swimming, vacuum cleaners, or the fire alarm mommy and daddy set off when they are in the kitchen. He loves almost anyone he meets almost immediately, will jump on you and get in your face for attention (even though mommy and daddy tell him not to).

When Milo was running around at Happily Ever After, daddy (I) wasn't so sure about him. Just about two years into this adventure, I'm not so sure who rescued who at this point. I never had pets growing up, so the amount of love and attachment has been a new experience. And the unconditional love that Milo gives back is a gift that means more than I could explain.
