Gusty came to us as a foster — sick, scared, and surrendered. We nursed her through it. She never left. As an 18-month old, Gusty's already mentored and we've fostered 15 more dogs. Gusty passed her therapy dog test and works 1-2 times a week with kids in classrooms and those with disabilities. She came to heal. She stayed to heal others. An advocate for CACC dogs, pit bulls, and adoption.
