Rules

Entries must be submitted online through the contest website.
Photo entries of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, or rabbits are accepted (no people in the photos).
Your pet does not have to be adopted from One Tail at a Time but they do have to be a rescue pet.
Photos must contain only one pet, but you may submit unlimited entries into the contest.
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, obscene, or that otherwise conflict with One Tail’s values will be removed from the contest.
Photo entries and online voting will be accepted starting at 8:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, May 11, 2026 until 8:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, June 1, 2026.
$1 for 1 vote, with a minimum $5 donation for 5 votes. Votes can be banked so you can apply them to several entries or you can apply all votes to one entry.
We prefer that vote donations are made online, but mailed or hand-delivered vote donations are accepted so long as they follow these guidelines:
- All mail-in/hand-delivered vote donations ($1/vote, $5 minimum donation for 5 votes) must be received at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N Wood St) by or before 7:00pm CST on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
- Please include the pet’s name AND their owner’s name with the check or cash donation because there is likely more than one pet with the same name.
  - Any vote donations received that do not include this information will be considered a general donation to One Tail at a Time unless the donor emails stephanie.cascio@onetail.org to confirm who they’d like to vote for no later than 7:00PM CST on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
- Vote donations that are unable to be applied to an entry are non-refundable but are still tax-deductible.
By entering your photo(s) in the contest, you grant One Tail at a Time the right to use the photo(s) at our discretion for marketing purposes.
Donations to vote are non-refundable but they ARE tax-deductible!
- The acknowledgement email you receive after completing your donation (which comes from GoGo Photo Contest, not OTAT) serves as your tax receipt.
OTAT is unable to process refunds for any entry or vote donations.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
Winners will be announced on social media and contacted via email to confirm any final details on Tuesday, June 2nd.
Winners under age 21 will not receive a pack of the Brews for Rescues beer.
