ENTERING THE CONTEST
How much is the entry fee?
The entry fee is a $10 donation per photo. You can make an additional donation during the entry process that will count as votes toward your submitted photo(s). All proceeds from the contest entries and votes will go directly to support One Tail at a Time’s life-saving work.
How do I enter a photo of my pet?
You can enter online! We’re able to accept the following photo file types: .JPG and .PNG.
Can I enter more than one photo of my pet?
Yes, but we will not combine the two entries’ votes so you would be hurting your pet’s chance of winning by doing so. You can enter as many pets as you’d like though with separate entries per pet!
What if I want to change the photo I entered?
You are able to change your photo one time after submission! Please send an email to stephanie.cascio@onetail.org.
What are the eligibility requirements for entries?
- Photos must contain only one pet (no people or other pets).
- We suggest you enter a photo that’s well-lit, in-focus, and close enough to see some detail of your pet’s face. This is the only photo that will be shared with the folks at Solemn Oath to create their label design!
- Pets do not have to be adopted from One Tail at a Time but they DO need to be a rescue pet.
- You can submit a photo of a dog, cat, rabbit, or guinea pig.
VOTING IN THE CONTEST
How do I vote for a pet’s photo?
- Votes are $1 each and all votes are tax-deductible. There is a minimum donation of $5 for 5 votes.
- You can vote for your own pet's photo(s) as many times as you'd like!
- Vote online:
- Click on the View Entries button on the homepage or Vote link. Search the pet's name and click on their photo. You can then cast your vote(s) on the pet's page!
- The deadline to cast votes is 8:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, June 1, 2026.
- Easily share your pet's photo entry on social media by using the buttons on their page.
- Share with your friends, family, workplace and get them to vote!
- Vote by check or cash:
- Checks or cash must include a note with the name of the pet and their owner so we know where to apply the votes. Please see Rules for more information.

AFTER THE CONTEST
How will I know who won?
Winners will be announced via social media and contacted via email shortly after the contest. You can also check the leaderboards on the homepage to see how your pet's photo is doing in the contest.
How is the winner determined?
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
Will there be a launch party once the beer is released?
Yes, we’re going to co-host a launch party with our collaborator Solemn Oath Brewery on Sunday, June 14th! More details will be made available on our website, social media, and via email.
