Paw Perfect Pet Calendar Photo Contest!
Last year’s competition was a high-stakes, heart-pounding showdown that kept everyone on the edge of their seats! The tension was palpable when Popeye the Cockatoo stepped up as the ultimate underdog—the only non-furry competitor in a sea of paws. With his talons out and a squawk fueled by pure grit, he defied the odds and soared past the pack to claim the April 2026 calendar page.
But this year? Whether you are large or small, sporting whiskers, a busy-nosed bunny, or a friend of the scaly kind—enter the race. Be bold! Be a hero! Grab your favorite human to support your ambitions and help us kick off Paw Parent’s nerve tickling fundraiser. Let’s see those entries and make the 2027 calendar legendary!

Rules
- Each entry is a $5 tax deductible donation to Paw Parent Rescue.
- Calendars can be pre ordered and purchased from us for $25 each (shipping included).
- Multiple entries are encouraged and are welcome too. Animals do not have to be rescues to enter.
- The top 10 Calendar Animals will be featured in the 2027 Paw Parent Calendar. The winner with the highest votes also receives a free calendar.
- There will be two collage page months, and anyone who wants their pet featured can pay $20 for a guaranteed inclusion in our 2027 Calendar.
- Photos must be high resolution (to work for the calendar) or they will be returned and donations refunded.
- All submitted photos will be shared out on the Paw Parent page on Facebook and Instagram!
- All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.
- Paw Parent reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.
- Entries will be taken throughout the contest period.
- Voting will commence at 7:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Friday, April 10, 2026, and will run until 10:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
THE FOUNDER OF PAW PARENT Isabell Csaki, along with wonderful helpers, has dedicated her life to saving dogs and cats from shelters, streets and people who can no longer take care of them.
Since its inception more than a decade ago,
Paw Parent has rescued hundreds of dogs and cats who otherwise would have perished. All of the animals taken in receive the love and attention they deserve, along with necessary veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgeries. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for all of them, but for some that dream doesn't always come true. Those few are loved and taken care of by us for the rest of their lives.
Through the generosity of individual donors, foundations and businesses, we are able to make a significant difference in the future of the helpless animals we serve. We work tirelessly to raise the funds required to accomplish positive outcomes for them with every dollar given going to directly benefit the lives of animals who are, for whatever reason, abandoned, hopeless and alone. We at Paw Parent are deeply grateful to all who make it possible to accomplish our dream of rescuing innocent lives.
