Rules
Photo submissions must be of dogs - NO humans.
Photos may include multiple dogs.
Photos must not be altered, other than minor contrast, brightness, etc.
All entries must be in color
Horizontal (landscape) orientation preferred as it is required for pet of the month placement.
If your entry was taken by a commercial studio, please include a signed copyright release from the photographer with your entry.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, obscene, etc, will be removed from the contest with no refunds.
Once entered, photos become the property of the The Perseus Foundation and may be used for print and marketing purposes.
Each entry is $25.
Every $1 donation counts as one vote, (minimum of five votes).
All donations from voting are non-refundable.
All donations are tax-deductible by law.
Prize announcements will be revealed on the contest homepage within one week of the contest end-date. An email address is required to make an online donation so a receipt with tax information can be sent to the donor. If you would not like to receive Perseus Foundation news via email in the future, there is a checkbox that you can un-check at the time of your donation.
The submission AND voting period begins on August 17, 2016 and ends September 28, 2016.
The value of any prizes won in this contest must be reported on your taxes as income. For more information, please refer to:
