I received your email & saw this contest..
The story for Mervin & Molly is Mervin’s owner was diagnosed with terminal cancer and wanted us to take him. Actually didn’t want to take him because I just had put down our senior dogs (12 yrs. brother & sister) which we also adopted from the HHS. I was a foster mom to them as puppies. We had Mel groomed (he was so matted) and we FaceTimed his owner, he was so happy to see Mervin with his new cut and running around in a grassy lawn (he lived in a condo). Sadly, in 2 weeks Mervin’s owner passed away. Then decided to get Merv a companion & went to the HHS & saw this adorable puppy (chihuahua/toy fox terrier?) we adopted her and they are now inseparable..
