Sandy Boy is a 7-year-old orange tabby adopted from the Hawaiʻi Humane Society, and somehow he always seems to find the most magical spot in the house. In this photo, he’s perched like the king of the lanai, with a rainbow stretching across the sky behind him, perfectly matching the joy he brings to our home. Sandy is sweet, curious, a little mischievous, and full of that classic orange-cat personality. Since the day we adopted him, he has filled our lives with warmth, laughter, and plenty of aloha. Whether he’s watching the world go by, soaking up the breeze, or posing in front of a rainbow like he planned the whole thing, Sandy Boy reminds us every day how special rescue pets can be.
