Are you ready to get your pet's votes on?? Last year, thanks to community support, we raised over $12,000, and this year, we're aiming even higher!
Would you love to see your pet's adorable face on the cover of our calendar? Show us your favorite photo of your best pet, and not only will you be raising money for homeless animals in need in our community, but you will have the chance to win some cool prizes for yourself and have your pet featured in our 2027 calendar!
Contest entry is $10. Your $10 entry fee includes your pet's photo printed on a day in the calendar and 15 votes! The contest will run from 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 2, 2026 to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Every entry guarantees that your pet will be featured on a date in the calendar chosen by BarkHop Studio.
Votes are just $1! Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Each vote is $1 (must purchase a minimum of 5 votes). Once you submit your entry, you can share it with your family and friends and encourage them to vote!

Friendly Reminder: Winners must be able to attend a photo shoot WITH their pictured pet(s) on specific dates in May and June at BarkHop Studio.
Reserve a Day to Honor Your PetWant a guaranteed spot in the calendar on a date that's meaningful to you and your pet? Reserve a specific day to honor your pet for just $10. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Photos submitted must be of your pet only, no people. Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice (pending availability- we'll ask for a couple of special dates to do our best!). Choose your favorite photo of your pet and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

- The top 12 entries & a judge’s choice pet will win a professional photo session with BarkHop Studio that will be scheduled on specific dates in the Summer at the studio located in Glenmoore, PA, a mile north of the rescue. If you are unable to commit to a photo session at that location and during the dates & times offered, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar. No exceptions. The 13 winners will also receive a discovery call with BarkHop Studio to learn more about them and their personality, and prepare for the calendar photo shoot.
- The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar. The remaining 12 entries with the most votes and the judges' choice will be featured as a pet of the month.
- One entry will be selected for a Judge's Choice Award. A panel of judges will pick the photo with the most personality and give that dog a spot in the calendar, regardless of the number of votes it gets.
- BarkHop Studio will choose the best images from each shoot and their corresponding months. All winners will have the opportunity to purchase photo products following their session if desired.
- Throughout the four-week contest, entrants will have the opportunity to win mini contest prizes sponsored by local businesses.

PAR is launching our 3rd annual calendar contest that will run May 2, 2026 through May 30, 2026. There are three ways you can participate:
- Enter the contest! Submit your favorite picture, taken by you, of your pet(s) for a chance to have your pet featured in the calendar! Check out more details below.
- Vote for your favorite pets! Each vote = $1 and the proceeds fund the PAR’s critical work to help animals in our community. Check out more details below.
- Purchase a 2027 calendar! All proceeds go directly to PAR and the work they do for the animals. Check out more details below.
Submissions open at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 2, 2026 and close at 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Entries may include animals that have passed away; however, to be eligible for the winning 13 spots, animals must be still living and available to be photographed on specific dates in the summer at BarkHop Studio located at 1230 Pottstown Pike, Glenmoore, PA 19343.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from PAR or any other shelter, to be eligible to enter the contest. Photos are to be of pets ONLY; people are not allowed in the photo. Up to two pets per photo/entry please. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner. PAR, BarkHop Studio and Maddie's Castle reserve the right to remove any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired. We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos. All photo submissions must be digital and submitted through the contest platform.

Voting begins as soon as you submit a photo and your entry fee and your entry is registered. Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You must purchase a minimum of five votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. Winners will be announced on the Phoenix Animal Rescue's, BarkHop Studio's and Maddie's Castle's social media channels following the contest. The winners will be contacted by BarkHop Studio by phone and email within a week of the contest's closing.
Through your support and participation in events like our annual photo calendar contest, we can continue to go above and beyond for the animals at the Rescue as we care for them until they find their furever homes.
