Enter your favorite photo of your pet to win a coveted spot in the 2027 PAR Calendar! Your pet does not have to be a PAR alum- all are welcome!
PAR is launching our 3rd annual calendar contest that will run May 2, 2026 through May 30, 2026. There are three ways you can participate:
- Enter the contest! Submit your favorite picture, taken by you, of your pet(s) for a chance to have your pet featured in the calendar! Check out more details below.
- Vote for your favorite pets! Each vote = $1 and the proceeds fund the PAR’s critical work to help animals in our community. Check out more details below.
- Purchase a 2027 calendar! All proceeds go directly to PAR and the work they do for the animals. Check out more details below.
Submissions open at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 2, 2026 and close at 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Entries may include animals that have passed away; however, to be eligible for the winning 13 spots, animals must be still living and available to be photographed on specific dates in the summer at BarkHop Studio located at 1230 Pottstown Pike, Glenmoore, PA 19343.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from PAR or any other shelter, to be eligible to enter the contest. Photos are to be of pets ONLY; people are not allowed in the photo. Up to two pets per photo/entry please. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner. PAR, BarkHop Studio and Maddie's Castle reserve the right to remove any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired. We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos. All photo submissions must be digital and submitted through the contest platform.
Contest entry is $10. Your $10 entry fee includes your pet's photo printed on a day in the calendar and 15 votes! The contest will run from 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 2, 2026 to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Every entry guarantees that your pet will be featured on a date in the calendar chosen by BarkHop Studio.
Voting begins as soon as you submit a photo and your entry fee and your entry is registered. Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You must purchase a minimum of five votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. Winners will be announced on the Phoenix Animal Rescue's, BarkHop Studio's and Maddie's Castle's social media channels following the contest. The winners will be contacted by BarkHop Studio by phone and email within a week of the contest's closing.
Through your support and participation in events like our annual photo calendar contest, we can continue to go above and beyond for the animals at the Rescue as we care for them until they find their furever homes.
