Safehaven Humane Society, in partnership with Out West Originals, is happy to announce its annual calendar contest for 2024. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Safehaven Humane Society with rescuing and re-homing small animals along with other programs.
Together, we encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your dog and ask your family and friends to vote for them. Reviewing the Contest Rules carefully for submission guidelines is strongly recommended as those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees from photo entries and votes will help Safehaven Humane Society continue their efforts and programs to re-home animals in their care.
Grand Prizes:
- The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes.
- The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2024 calendar and a month of their choice! 2nd - 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
- The top 12 vote getters will have their pet professionally photographed by Ginger of Out West Originals for the 2024 calendar.
- All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and portraits following their session, if desired.
*If your pet is one of the 12 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your dog to a pre-selected location in the Lebanon/Albany area during April or May for a professional on-location photo session. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your dog's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
Mini-Contest Prizes:
During the calendar contest, the dog who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of the participating businesses. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible dogs.
Reserve a Special Spot In The Calendar For Your Pet:
- Honor your dog or celebrate a gotcha-day or birthday by reserving an empty grid space (before or after the numbered squares) for their photo.
- Choose a favorite photo, a month, and pay.
- Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis; don't delay!
- Each grid space is just $10.
