Picture your amazing photo on our 2026 calendar!
Show off your photography skills and the beauty of Lancaster County by entering your own photo of a scene in Lancaster County. Photos must be landscape (horizontal) orientation. Photo entry period is June 2nd to 17th. Encourage your friends and family to vote for your photo during three rounds of voting from June 19th to July 8th. This photo contest benefits the Lancaster Farmland Trust! Information on cash prizes for the 12 winners is here.
Three rounds of voting determine the 12 winning photos. Vote totals will be zeroed out after each round to ensure a level playing field at the start of each round. You can vote for free once each day from Thursday through Sunday during each voting round. Free votes are manually added to the leaderboard by 7:00PM the following Monday. You can buy votes for only $1 per vote on any day of each voting round. Paid votes will be updated on the leaderboard immediately.
After the three rounds of voting, the twelve top vote-getting photos (using votes from final round) will be featured in a beautiful, glossy wall calendar. The photo with the highest number of votes in the final round will also be featured on the cover of the calendar! Calendars can be pre-ordered here.

Remember to frequently check your photo's standing toward the end of each voting round; voting gets very brisk at the ends of the rounds.
Remember that every vote helps support farmland preservation in Lancaster County so please vote early and often!
Voting Schedule:
- Round 1 voting:
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 6/19.
- Free voting closes Sunday, 6/22 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard on Monday, 6/23, by 7:00 PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 6/24 at 7:00PM.
- Round 2 voting - the top 50% of photos from Round 1 will move to Round 2 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 6/26.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 6/29 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard on Monday, 6/30, by 7:00 PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 7/1 at 7:00PM.
- Round 3 voting - the top 50% of photos from Round 2 will move to Round 3 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 7/3.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 7/6 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard on Monday, 7/7, by 7:00 PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 7/8 at 7:00PM.
- Announce winners: Wednesday, 7/9, based on the top vote tallies for the final round.
